The Product Design Engineer Role
Our Product Design Engineers are responsible for new product introduction and design development and play a key role in the Centek Centre of Excellence. Their focus is to ensure the designs for all products, tooling, fixtures and gauges are robust and accurate. They use CAD Solidworks to design products to customer requirements.
As a Product Design Engineer you will take a lead role in the design engineering team including setting project responsibilities and priorities for Design Engineers and ensure time frames and costs are adhered to. Liaison with the Engineering Support Managers Team to update on project progress and changing product priorities would be a key element of your day to day work.
We expect our Product Design Engineer's to have a degree in engineering or equivalent successful experience working with completion equipment and at least 5 years experience working in an engineering or technical field.
