NEWS Centek, Inc. Hosts Continuous Improvement of Oklahoma (CIOK) Event
Today, Centek, Inc. proudly hosted the latest meeting of the Continuous Improvement Oklahoma (CIOK) group at its U.S. manufacturing facility bringing together professionals from across the state who are committed to driving operational excellence and lean enterprise practices.
The event welcomed leaders and practitioners from a variety of industries, all focused on enhancing productivity, safety, and quality through continuous improvement. Guests toured Centek’s state-of-the-art plant, engaged in collaborative discussions, and shared real-world insights on successful improvement initiatives.
What made this event truly special was that Centek’s employees led the entire demonstration—from planning to presenting—under the leadership of Donovan Tahkofper. It was a powerful display of ownership and pride, as team members showcased the systems and practices they use every day to drive performance, solve problems, and deliver customer value.

CIOK is a community-driven network that connects Oklahoma companies and professionals who are passionate about lean principles, Six Sigma, and building a culture of problem-solving. The July 18 session at Centek featured peer presentations, networking, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the company uses visual management, standard work, and frontline engagement to continuously improve its operations.
