NEWS Centek Achieves ISO Certification for Environmental and Health & Safety Standards with Zero Non-Conformities
Centek Ltd is proud to announce that it has been officially certified as compliant with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards — achieving this milestone with zero non-conformities on the first attempt.
This achievement follows a focused, seven-month effort across all areas of the business to meet — and in many cases exceed — the strict requirements of the internationally recognised standards. The independent audit team praised both Centek’s employees and leadership team for their clear commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
“Few companies achieve this level of compliance at the first attempt without any non-conformities,” noted the auditors.
The successful audit is a testament to the shared commitment across the Centek team, from day-to-day operations through to strategic HSE management. Everyone played a part — from those contributing to the H&S committee to individuals ensuring workspaces were clean, PPE was worn correctly, and machinery was properly maintained.
While proud of this success, Centek is continuing to raise the bar. Upcoming initiatives include:
-
A full review of all chemicals used on site
-
Improved racking systems for safer storage
-
Onsite air quality checks
These improvements are part of Centek’s ongoing drive to deliver not only the highest-quality products but also to do so in a way that safeguards people and minimises environmental impact.
Jefferson Bennett, Centek Ltd's Health & Safety Coordinator commented:
“This is a real team achievement and something we can all be proud of. These certifications are more than a badge — they reflect a culture of responsibility, continuous improvement, and care for the people who make Centek what it is.”
The ISO certificates will be proudly displayed at Centek’s UK headquarters and reaffirm the company’s dedication to excellence not just in product performance, but in how it operates.
