UROS-CT is the solution for close tolerance offshore well in Senegal

The operator ran 10 UROS-CT centralizers plus slim stop collars inside a 13 3/8″ × 72 ppf P110 VAM Top casing with only a 12.191″ drift, achieved successful pass-through and cementing with no issues.

UROS-CT Close Tolerance Centralizer enabled a 11 ¾″ × Wedge 513 casing run inside a 12.191″ drift in a Senegal offshore well, through ten units deployed without incident.

THE CHALLENGE

To provide a configuration for a 291ft liner with Baker Hughes inline liner hanger and 11 ¾” 65ppg and P110 Wedge 513 casing. Centralizers to be run inside a 13 3/8” 72ppf P110 Vam Top casing with an ID of 12.347” with a drift of 12.191”.

THE SOLUTION

The customer ran 10 x 11 3/4-14 3/4 UROS CT centralizers with ACE Ratchet collars on the 291m liner.

THE RESULT

The minimum pass through of the UROS-CT is 12.347” and the customer encountered no issues.
