Customer Services and Sales Order Coordinator
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a motivated and talented person to join the Centek Team.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will have strong customer service and administrative background and be experienced in sales order processing. They should be able to liaise with all necessary parties to ensure that each order arrives to the customer on time. Excellent customer service and communication skills plusthe ability to perform well as a team member are all essential.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage orders from start through to completion, including verifying order details, inputting data for commercial documents, liaising with sales, production and warehousing to confirm dates for deliveries
- Communicate with existing customers via telephone and email, demonstrating a high level of customer service awareness to establish and meet customer needs and expectations..
- Negotiate delivery dates with customers
- Prepare and provide documentation to customers in accordance with the terms of shipment.
- Use IT systems such as Winman and Customer Ordering Portals
- Liaise with customer appointed freight forwarders to enable them to arrange bookings
- Obtain proof of export when necessary
- Ensure timely communication to colleagues regarding invoicing of orders once they aredespatched
- Raise proformas and packing specifications as required for customer to arrange freight
Technical/Work Based Competencies:
- Computer literate – able to work with Winman, MS Office, Sharepoint and Customer portals (training will be provided as necessary)
- Good attention to detail; delivering efficient and accurate work
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb information about products and business processes
- Must be able to manage priorities; dealing with many orders at any one time at various stages of the process
- Numerate – ability to interpret price lists, discounts, currency and exchange rates
- Experience with international trade desirable but not essential

- Ensure all environmental waste is streamed through the correct waste processes and disposed of in the designated area
- Inform and report all environmental incidents and potential hazards e.g. spills immediately.

Location: Based in Newton Abbot, Devon.
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Hours of work: 8.30am – 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
